The Full Story
About
We recognize the several hindrances immigrants experience, from cultural misunderstandings and language barriers to racial stereotypes and socioeconomic factors influencing their access to high-quality healthcare.

Our organization is dedicated to provide comprehensive programs and innovative standards of care tailored to the various needs of patients, regardless of cultural background, immigration status, or language skills.
Mission
We pledge our dedication to respecting each patient's unique cultural identities and providing sensitive healthcare services. We prioritize educating healthcare staff and providers in cultural competency, ensuring they serve immigrant patients with appropriate levels of understanding and professionalism. We commit ourselves to offering interpretational language and multilingual education services, overcoming any language barriers.

By collaborating with local and international community leaders, we work together to address social factors in healthcare inequalities. We focus on equitable access to high-quality healthcare, diminishing prejudices.

Our mission pledges to provide responsive and constantly adapting care, coordinating with innovative strategies and adapting to the changing needs of our communities.

Through these efforts, we strive to provide a healthcare environment that uplifts, empowers, and educates the communities we serve, instilling that their health and wellbeing is our top priority.
Vision
We envision a global society where every immigrant has equitable and simplified access to clinically reliable healthcare, integrated with understanding and respect for the various cultures of the communities they serve, regardless of heritage, race, or language.

In the future, communication between healthcare providers and patients is clear and unhindered by language barriers. Healthcare professionals are not only skilled clinicians, but also culturally flexible and acknowledge individuals who approach each patient with understanding and sensitivity for their background and context.

We see a future where health equality is the standard and immigrants are no longer disproportionately affected by health disparities, with dynamic services that are adaptive to their inputs and needs. Advocacy for immigrant health becomes a universal priority, resulting in policy changes towards a more inclusive healthcare environment.

Ultimately, our vision is to create a healthcare model that is a beacon for a more inclusive and compassionate society where every individual has unrestricted access to improve and maintain their well-being, unrestricted by discriminatory policies or stereotypes.
About the Founder
My name is Joyce Xu.
Joyce's journey into healthcare and science was heavily inspired by her personal experiences in growing up with immigrant parents. Her interest was furthered when she cared for her grandmother who had difficulties accessing effective healthcare during her years in the US. Joyce's interest and passion in STEM led her to apply and attend a rigorous medical program where she is taking courses such as Organic Chemistry and Medical Biology. These studies and cooperation with other youth have allowed her to share her knowledge and advocate for policy changes.
