Our mission:
We recognize the several hindrances immigrants experience, from cultural misunderstandings and language barriers to racial stereotypes and socioeconomic factors influencing their access to high-quality healthcare.

Our organization is dedicated to provide comprehensive programs and innovative standards of care tailored to the various needs of patients, regardless of cultural background, immigration status, or language skills.

By becoming a branch leader of UCC in your local community your responsibilities include:

Researching basic information on immigrant communities in your area and possible health disparities that are prevalent

Recruiting other students from varying cultures that possess multilingual capabilities to become volunteer translators

Interviewing patients and immigrants in your community
